i've decided to stop weighing myself.
frankly, i don’t give a damn. i need to focus on running and exercise and if that means i’m going to weigh 170 (which i did yesterday), but have some really awesome runs, than so be it. the more i run and exercise, the more weight i’ll lose, so whatever.

i have the best boyfriend ever :)

brendan taught me how to deadlift last night!
and i just did 5 weightless deadlifts in my kitchen. LOVE THEM! wish i had a bar and some plates so i could add weight, but i do have some handweights that i can use for awhile. i wore my bikini to the beach today!
got burned on: face (a wee bit) belly. back. front of thighs. a slash on the back of my left thigh. maybe should have put sunscreen on sooner than half an hour before we left. for safety reasons, i have cancelled today's run.
between my back (which is feeling fine, but brendan said that his chiropractor said not to do any vigorous exercise for two days after getting adjusted and i want to ask mine about that when i go back on monday) and this massive storm (in which something very close to my house got struck by lightning), i’ve decided it’s safer to just not do it today. which i am actually quite upset...

so, i'm going to the chiropractor's at 3 today.
what should i expect?

i'm supposed to run 11 miles today.
i have to be done by about 3, which is in 1 hour, 15 minutes. i don’t think it’s going to happen? but i can get in a solid five miles, maybe even 6! water is in the freezer now. as soon as mother is done in the shower, i’m going to go get changed, put my water in my insulated lunch box, and go!
