i'm gonna start doing 5 burpees every time i leave...
because burpees are the devil, so doing them more will make me better at them, right?
also, it’ll keep me a little more active and keep my heart rate up more during the day!
and, of course, 5 burpees are worth at least 15 points on fitocracy!

but last night, i went and did me some squats!
but the gym closed about half an hour after i got there :(
i only had time for 3 miles on the bike followed by 5 sets of squats (view here!)
and then, i cashed in one of my cheat meals! i had been waiting for this one all week. i went to panera and got a small mac and cheese and, since they were out of regular baguettes, a whole grain baguette!

consumed 1443 calories today! which is just under my goal of 1450.
and then i burned 791…

lol. i would eat more, but i’m not really hungry. i was never really hungry today. except right after second gym session… but then i had some rice and oranges!

did fitness tests today!
i did 1.30 miles in 12 minutes, 48 curl ups, and 4 proper pushups.
then when i was done, i hopped on the expresso bike and did 2.93 miles in 14:46 on the alpine splash thing. which is fairly mountainous. oh, and it was a 20-25 minute course. so much sweat!
my butt is sore

i squatted 80 pounds today! which is a. higher than i have ever repped before! and b. almost half my bodyweight! i’m so close i can taste it. 5 more pounds and i will be squatting over half my bodyweight!
also, my goal is to be able to squat my weight by the end of the semester. three and a half months. assuming a loss of (at least) 15 more pounds, that means i need to...

Yayy congrats! Yeah I’ve been doing like 5 miles in an hour (except I’ve been walking a lot) and I seriously do not care if it’s slow, I’m burning calories!

yes, it’s slow. i don’t really care. i did some exploring in the park (and got some not-as-epic-as-expected pictures of pittsburgh and pitt from the top of the hill in the park). it was fun. it was enjoyable. it was the farthest i’ve run in five months. also, doesn’t running slow help you burn more fat anyway?
